Creating a Widget

Creating a widget with Widget Studio is a quick and straightforward process. In just a few steps, you can design, configure, and deploy a customized widget ready to be embedded on any website. Follow the instructions below to get started and take full advantage of the seamless integration with Webprovisions for efficient distribution.

Step 1: Log In and Access Widget Studio

Start by logging into the ACE Portal. Once inside, open Widget Studio and click "Create" to begin the process.

Step 2: Select a Template

Choose one of the available templates that best suits your needs, then click "Continue" to proceed.

Step 3: Name Your Widget

Assign a name to your widget. This name is for internal use only and helps you keep track of your widgets.

Step 4: Configure the Widget

Under "Content settings," configure your widget according to your needs. The options available will depend on the type of widget you are creating.

Step 5: Style the Widget (Optional)

If desired, you can style the widget to match your branding guidelines. For more information on customization, refer to the Branding docs.

Step 6: Save and Deploy the Widget

After configuring your widget, click "Save." For new widgets, you’ll also need to deploy them by going to Settings and selecting "Deploy." This will signal Webprovisions to create a distribution, which may take a few minutes.

Step 7: Embed the Widget

Once your widget is deployed, it can be easily embedded on any website. Follow the instructions provided after deployment, and for more details, refer to the Embedding a widget.
